Vacants and abandonment is an issue in Baltimore that effects the optimism of loyal residents and the atmosphere and success of Baltimore City. Vacants to Value, a 2010 mayoral initiative seeks to solve these problems by selling its vacant properties efficiently.
Cari Crabtree is a new media/journalism major as of May 2011. She blogs about social responsibility and has an interest in political science, geography/oceanography, English, philosophy. Her passion about social responsibility inspired the pursuit of this vacant home issue in Baltimore City.
